Empatamos en el ultimo minuto
My work will be an electroacoustic music between 10 to 12 minutes for
5.1system. This music will be based on electronic synthetic sounds and
others transformed by several DSP techniques, and then mixed with samples of
soccer supporter’s in the stadium. I will work particularly the sonority of
de people “en masse”, this deep and profound energy without face or
identity.
Mario Marcelo Mary
born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1961. He was graduated in Composition at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, where he also studied Orchestra Conducting. Simultaneously, he studied Computer Music.
In 1992 he continued his studies in Paris, at the GRM, Conservatoire de Musique de Paris, IRCAM and University of Paris VIII, from which he received in 2001 his doctoral degree in Aesthetic, Science and Technology of Arts.
He worked as a composer in research at the IRCAM, where he realised "AudioSculpt Cross-Synthesis Handbook" in 1995, and "Control editors" (interfaces Open Music for AudioSculpt) in 2003. Currently, he's artistic director of the "Computer Music Concerts Series" and he teaches "Sound Synthesis and DSP", and "Acoustic Musical" at the Paris VIII University.
His music has been distinguished in composition competitions, as for example:
